Submitting a caption
To submit a caption for a photo that's already on the blog:
1. Look at a photo or select an old photo from the "Blog archives" below.
2. Click the title of the photo above the photo (it's usually the date of the post).
3. In the "Post a Comment" box, type a caption to go into the speech balloon. (If you want to type a caption for someone else, just identify the person first, like "[woman in blue jacket] I am soooo hungover. Thank god I don't actually work here.")
Feel free to build on other people's entries and/or make references to entries from other photos.
4. (optional) Click the "Comment as:" box.
5. (optional) Select the option you want. ("Name/URL" is good because you can just enter whatever name you want and you don't have to put in a URL.)
6. Click "Post Comment".
7. Click the envelope icon under the photo to email that day's contest photo and entries to up to 10 friends.

ReplyDeleteha! ha! ha! I know, I know. it's awesome when our enormous capitalist appetites gulp up smaller, more useful companies in fits of imperialistic fervour! We should all get up and pat ourselves on the back! We made 8 trillion more dollars today! whoopeee! We can go home to our spouses and pools and helicopter landing pads and think about how empty our lives are even with all this wealth! and tomorrow, I expect you to come in feeling propelled to consume EVEN MORE!!
